About
Edit this page at src/pages/about.astro. A few paragraphs about
you and the work — how you came to clay, what you're chasing in the firing,
the kilns you use.
The pots here are wheel-thrown and fired at cone 10 in reduction, in both a gas kiln and a wood kiln. Much of the recent work is concerned with shino — carbon trapping, iron flashing, and the way a glaze records where it sat in the kiln.
Photographs are shot on medium format under controlled studio lighting, so what you see is close to the surface in the hand. If something catches your eye, get in touch.
