Large "Ido-inspired" Chawan

This is the largest of the Ido-inspired bowls that I made this spring, and it has some of the most interesting glaze behavior after firing. I brushed a bit of iron wash on the rim of the pot which combined with the ash glaze ran down the exterior of the pot as rivulets of green cutting through a base of blue green glaze. On the inside of the pot the glaze was heavier resulting in a gradient from blue green to yellow down to a pool of crystalized blue green glass in the chadamari.
